Marriage For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God's values.

The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.

Registered parish members must contact one of the parish priests at least six months before setting a wedding date.

The wedding coordinator, works with registered parishioner couples planning to marry at St. Joseph Church. In conjunction with the Pastor, Associate Pastor, or Deacon, the wedding coordinator plans the wedding liturgy/mass; conducts the wedding rehearsal; and provides assistance and guidance at all weddings performed at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

If you are planning to marry at St. Joseph Church, please contact the parish office at 962-0165 for further information.
