Our Mission

St. Joseph We of St. Joseph Parish are a body of Catholic Christians guided by the Holy Spirit and dedicated to participating more fully in spreading the Good News.

We are committed to building community, celebrating God’s work through the sacraments and liturgy, witnessing God’s presence through evangelization, loving and servicing all people, and continuing the education of our parish family, thereby enabling all to grow in the love of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our Core Values

Educational Opportunities
Understanding our faith is key to our effectively practicing it. Education in the faith is important for all in our parish community, young and not-so-young.

Sacramental Participation
Working towards eternal life requires regular participation in the Seven Sacraments of the Church. Our sacraments are essential gifts from God, and we must be willing to receive these gifts.

Service to Others
Saint Joseph Parish exists within a larger community. We are called by Christ to serve each other and those in our Battle Creek community.

Youth Engagement
Our mission as a youth ministry team is to foster a deep sense of Catholic identity within the young church and lead them to a greater understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
